We received many replies on the survey asking for ideas on what to do with the Quality Agreements Money. Thanks!

We combined similar ideas and removed all duplicates. To get a better idea of what student find important, you can check all your favourite ideas from the list below. Ideas with the most votes indicates where the faculty should focus on in the coming year(s)!

We got some amazing ideas for which the Quality Agreements money can unfortunately not be spend(for example a cheaper supermarket on campus). Don't worry, we will make sure to get this input to the right people.

More and better(/more qualified) TA's

More spots to sit in fron of the Zilvering during summer, like benches with shade roofs, tables to work outside (optionally hammocks and beangbags)

A lot more (flex) study places. More tables in larger study environments and more smaller study rooms for only a few people

Improved climate control (for example, but especially, in the Educafé)

A new and improved Web Room Booking system with ALL the meeting rooms available for students

Support to improve the quality of teachers (especially English proficency)

Improve recording quality and quantity of recorded lectures

All grades in one place (instead of Canvas and Osiris)

More power sockets

Improve acoustics of Spiegel lecture halls

Free readers (for software systems, math, statistics, etc.)

Relax/de-stress areas (ball pit or puppies)

Improved seating (especially Educafé chairs feel bad)

More facilities for all EEMCS-students (laser cutting, 3D-printer which is not only for CreaTe students)

Server environment where each student can run study related programs (for a longer period of time, similar to how CUDA nodes can be used at UvA/VU on https://www.cs.vu.nl/das5/)

An investment in sufficient time for professors to design and compose strong and coherent master courses to significantly increase the quality and, consequently, value of the programs

Invest in short videos explaining fundamental topics subject to important courses (Youtube channels like Numberphile could serve as an example)

Better access to help from TAs or teachers

Work on being more LGBT+ friendly

More accommodation for individual learning styles and stuggling students

More flexibility on education

Better and larger lecture halls

TA training starting from module 1 instead of module 2

Better tele-lecturing equipment for lectures from/to TUDelft

More affordable lunch

Organisational information regarding bachelor thesis

Use part of the money to fund the tuiton fee students have to pay

Better coffee

Subscriptions to more paper collections

Professional license for Overleaf for all students

Getting access to solution manuals

Hire professionals for acadamic skills like presentation skills, writing, etc

Better guidance and feedback for the projects especially in BIT

Sponsoring study books and materials (Raspberry Pi, etc.)

More available space for students doing their master thesis internally

International IVA course

Lecture slides earlier in advance for students with disabilities

Skype meetings with TAs for students with disabilities so they can sit in smaller, less distracting rooms

Additions to TA-help me with written questions and TAs can reply whenever (needs to be able to share media easily). TAs will be paid through length of a conversation (time/amount of messages)

Make more example questions with an elaobrate answer available on Canvas

Maths answers should be given before the lecture that these 'study' questions need to be handed in.
